📅 Day

A Thanksgiving That Keeps on Giving

It’s Thanksgiving Sunday, so of course I woke up mom and dad at 3:30 am and took an epic poop listening to the repertoire of the pacific ocean. It was very soothing.
We then drove to Heritage Forest, a deep and engulfing forest that holds the relique of a 500 year old douglas-fir. We ventured the boardwalk of Qualicum beach where mom restrained me from diving into a sea of yummy slim of seawead and crab carcases. What a party pooper.
But! Before I knew it, I united with  my old neighbour Rourke, Jesse and Farrell, and plus a new pink wrinkly creature who smelled so nice. They were housed in a big van, which i thought was super cool.
I was very patient and only ate two scraps from the feast of barbeque that ensued. I didn’t feel short changed, however. I was in the presence (and centre of attention, rightfully) of people I love.
I felt thankful.

Until the next morning. I was awaken and rode the ferry again. It was cold even for me. Luckily, mom packed a wool blanket and we watched the sun rise. The sunrise. It was magnificent.
I didn’t bark, because mom said she was speechless.

It was a good trip. I love family vacation.
Let’s do more.

Now I nap.
It’s tough to be fluff.
